So, you want to keep a few bees, or maybe you are already doing so?  Why not join us and enjoy the wisdom and experience held within the members of the Mid-Antrim Beekeepers' Association.

Beekeepers are a notoriously shy bunch of individuals who quite often like to do their own thing, although once you declare your interest in bees  you will be bombarded by a wealth of friendly advice, information and assistance.  

While it has been quite permissible  to remain an aloof beekeeper up until now, the the imminent arrival of Varroa destructor in Northern Ireland, will mean that the days of the undeclared beekeeper are over.

To stand a chance of getting our bees over the Varroa hurdle, we as Beekeepers will have to act as one, and treat our colonies

AT THE SAME TIME,

so that we can weaken the Varroa mite population sufficiently, that our bees may flourish.

Therefore I invite you all to join our Association and get involved.  We as an Association would like to see the survival of as many Honeybee colonies as possible in the Mid-Antrim Area.  Therefore for the price of a magazine you can join us, and we can fight Varroa together. 

This is only one of the advantages in joining our Association.
