Honey Show Rules

All honey and beeswax must be the product of the exhibitor's own apiary.

All extracted honey must be exhibited in standard, clear glass squat or deep 454 gm (1 lb) honey jars with secure, easily removable covers, to the satisfaction of the judges.

Exhibits will not be sold, unless requested by the exhibitor.

All exhibits must be unlabelled, except class 111.

Honey colour British Standards Institutions (No 1656) filters (Glasses) will be used

Mead must be in colourless, , clear glass round shouldered, punted full sized wine bottles with flanged all-cork stoppers, filled to allow a 6 mm to 9 mm (1/4 to 3/4 inch) air space.

Mead must be made by the exhibitor, not fortified in any madder, and with no added fruit or flavouring
